Updating, Improving the vehicles and parts shopping experience for eBay Customers

The Vehicles, Parts & Accessories Category within eBay (better known as "eBay Motors") services over 100 million customers, and brings in an annual worldwide Gross Merchandise Value of over 3 billion dollars.  Launched in the early 2000's and operating independently since then, eBay Motors was a formidable business in need of design support.

In 2010 I took on the challenge of leading UX and Design for eBay Motors, working closely with the product and business teams to address multiple challenges around search, trust and engagement.  I also improved design with a stronger visual style that spoke to its enthusiast audience, and an overall improvement in user experience, from information architecture, to navigation and content.
